Where: Rudranath Capildeo Learning Resource Centre, McBean, Couva
What: Author Monique Roffey, spoken word artist Muhammad Muwakil, and editor and writer Nicholas Laughlin will be the featured speakers at the second in a series of once-a-term educational events for teenage writers from Trinidad & Tobago. The Allen Prize for Young Writers, a new non-profit organisation, will host the seminar from 9:00 am-1:00 pm on April 9, 2011, at the Rudranath Capildeo Learning Resource Centre, McBean, Couva.
The Term II Seminar is part of The Allen Prize's ongoing education programme, designed to improve young people's access to information on and training in creative writing. There will be no charge to participants but registration will be done on a first come, first served basis, as spaces are limited. For more, read the press release here.
